It'll Never Fly

It’s been a year since my last post about CFL football. It’s now a year later and the Eskimos are again visiting Mosaic Stadium (known as Taylor Field back then). It’s a bit of a role reversal this time around, however. The Eskies are on a very thin rope, dangerously close to missing the playoffs for the first time in 34 years. I hope the Riders take it to them (knock on wood).

Back then I referenced a Monty Python episode called “The Cycling Tour” by linking to a script of the show. It’s not my favourite Python skit, but it is my favourite episode. Well here we are, a year later, and YouTube has become this huge hit. Without further ado, I bring you, in its entirity, “The Cycling Tour” (in three parts):

And runners up are the Bookshop sketch, the Argument Clinic, the Cheese Shop, Mr. Hilter, and The Ministry of Silly Walks, but how is it fair to really narrow it down like that?

This pretty much says it all. I was hoping for a high snap, or a bobbled hold, but a block works just as good.

Definitely one to remember. All I remember are the losses. It’ll be good to add another win to the memory banks.

I’d like to meet the person that came up with the idea of the McFlurry. Then I could punch him in the face. I always thought s#*$! was brown. That was until I had a McFlurry.

At least I’m not the only one that thinks things suck.
