Posterous & Wordpress: wp_insert_post_data is your friend?

Working on some PHP code for my Wordpress blog to clean up the content it gets from Posterous.
Need a test message to tinker with.
Here’s another paragraph.
Me, too! What happens if I only hit return once?
Last one. iPhone really could use an easier way to resend emails.
I lied, but possibly the second last time I'll be doing [...]

A corollary to Godwin’s Law: as a discussion with my cubicle neighbour grows longer, the probability of a reference to the TV show “Angel” approaches 1.

Return of the Living Bookmarks

Remember when I mentioned that Ma.gnolia died and I lost all my hosted bookmarks, but not to worry because they were all posted here automatically, albeit in a very non-retrievably-friendly way? Well, I've started back up at Delicious again and now I'm working on getting all my old bookmarks back on there. I've got them [...]

I find it suspicious Lexycle (owned by Amazon) just happened to release the 2.1 update to Stanza (“at Apple’s request”) whose only change was to remove its hacky USB syncing, the weekend after Apple announces the iPad and iBookstore. Especially considering the other apps using the same hack were all notified and updated in early [...]

iPhone OS 3.1

Looks like Apple has vastly improved the time it takes a photo to save to the camera roll in the 3.1 OS that just came out with iTunes 9. It’s still not as fast as the built-in camera app, and there’s still no geo-tagging, but it’s a step in the right direction.

iPhone Wishlist (Version 2.0)

I thought about revisiting my old iPhone wishlist, and making the necessary updates, but decided to just start fresh as it was getting a little cluttered with all the updates I’ve made so far for the better (Thanks, Apple and 3-party devs!), and my priorities have changed a little over the last year.
The 2.1 and [...]

My iTunes Library Probably Gathers Moss Then

I always say I’m not a big fan of the Rolling Stones (I didn’t go to either of their concerts here in Regina back in 2006). I don’t have any of their songs in my iTunes library, but I’m finding out that I apparently do like a lot of their music. My favourite is that theme song [...]

The Incredible Bulk

I’ve mentioned in the past that I collect comics. Like most kids, I bought the odd comic now and then, here and there, as a kid, without really putting much thought or effort in to building an actual collection that would one day become an investment. I’d be cracking spines, folding, tearing accidentally, touching with [...]

The last I’ll ever say about mice?

If you’ve been following this blog for several years (may God have mercy on your soul), then you’re aware of my ongoing mission to find the perfect mouse. I’m beginning to think this quest is an impossible task.
If you remember, my last two attempts were a couple of Microsoft mice, with the Microsoft Wireless [...]
