What is it with people named Andrew? Here’s the latest gibberish from someone that doesn’t have a clue. He blames Apple for his own inability to read a Web page. They clearly state iTunes is included in the download. And they conveniently have a link to the standalone installer right on the same page.
In other news, as Jobs mentioned in his WWDC Keynote, a Public Preview of QuickTime 7 is now available for Windows.

For the record, Apple did NOT originally include a link to the stand-alone player sans iTunes, but only added this link after receiving numerous complaints. The link they added is small, and does not have a big blue graphic button for it.
This IS sleazy, obnoxious behavior by Apple, because it IS targeting inexperienced users, deliberately. It’s also a huge pain in the ass for folks who have to maintain/repair computers, as it just adds one more piece of crapware to the kilotons of crapware we have to look out for. The fact that you got all snarky over this with your smug, condescending attitude tells me all I need to know about you.
It just goes to show, any ‘tard can have a blog.
