It'll Never Fly

Why is anime so friggin’ expensive? I was looking into maybe buying Full Metal Panic and Chobits on DVD from Amazon.ca, and FMP is like $45 a disc; for something like 4 half-hour episodes each. I found a little bit better deal for Tenchi Muyo at DeepDiscountDVD.com, and can sometimes find some reasonable prices at the local London Drugs or Tramps. When I was in Winnipeg, the Best Buy there had some really good prices (something like $6 cheaper than FutureShop for the same title, which was odd because FutureShop is owned by Best Buy, and it was literally only two doors down from the Best Buy). I’ll have to check out what Calgary has to offer when I’m there next month for a weekend.

And on a side note, the final CD of several I ordered from Amazon.ca back in January shipped! I’ll believe it when I hold it in my hands, though.

I found a tutorial about converting your site’s font-size definitions from pixels to em’s.

I haven’t converted this site, yet, but I’ve done it with some of my other sites with some success. It’s just another step on one’s way to making a fully flexible and standards compliant Web site.
